24.02.2016 - International Day against School Bullying
Every year, the last Wednesday of February is known as the Day against School Bullying. On this day, participants wear pink to symbolize their stance against bullying at school.

It all began in 2007 as a protest against a bullying incident at a school. Two pupils organized the event to support their bullied friend. The initiative quickly became popular. In 2008, the day was declared a day against school bullying. Soon, thousands of children around the world took up the initiative. It was first observed in Bulgaria in 2012.

This year, the team and children at Karamfilche Full-Day Kindergarten No. 28 are also joining the initiative with the motto "Respect, Understanding, Friendship". We believe that relationships between kindergarten children should be built on respect, love, mutual help and a friendly helping hand, free from hatred, insults and bullying.

On 24.02.2016, the children made displays with handprints arranged in a circle as a symbol of friendship and unity in the fight against hatred and violence, exhibited their drawings on "Be Kind" and "Be a Friend", and played games such as "Hello, Friend!" and "Trust". A collage made by the teachers was placed at the kindergarten entrance to attract parents' attention and encourage them to join us in teaching children respect for others, understanding and friendship in play.

On this day, all children and the entire kindergarten team wear a pink sticker on their chest saying "Be a Friend!"
